Dr. Martin Denby is a British and New Zealand trained GP who has been working in the field of skin cancer since 2000. He has completed 4 years of post-graduate training in skin cancer management to obtain a Masters degree from the University of Queensland.
He is qualified in dermoscopy (using a skin microscope to diagnose skin cancers early), diagnosis, biopsy and surgical techniques including skin flaps and grafts.
He is an affiliated provider to Southern Cross Health Society for skin cancer checks and surgery at SkinSafe Clinic, Orewa. He also performs skin cancer surgery for Waitemata District Health Board and is on the Dermatology Subcommittee for PTAC (Pharmacology and Therapeutics Advisory Committee).
